QualitySleep is committed to publishing accurate, up-to-date content. This page explains how we handle factual corrections and content updates when errors are identified.
How to report an error
If you believe a page on QualitySleep contains a factual inaccuracy, outdated information, or a misleading claim, contact us at contact@qualitysleep.pro with:
- The URL of the page in question
- The specific sentence or claim you believe is incorrect
- A source or reference supporting the correction (if available)
We review all reported errors and aim to respond within 5 business days.
How we handle corrections
When a factual error is confirmed, we take the following steps:
- Minor factual corrections (typos, outdated figures, broken links): corrected promptly without a formal notice on the page.
- Significant factual corrections (incorrect claims about products, misrepresented research, wrong health information): corrected and noted on the page with a correction notice indicating what changed and when.
- Material errors (content that could cause harm if acted upon): corrected immediately, with the original content replaced or supplemented with accurate information.
Content update policy
Beyond corrections, we proactively update content when:
- A product reviewed on the site is discontinued, significantly updated, or repriced
- New peer-reviewed research changes our editorial position on a topic
- A regulatory body issues new guidance relevant to content on this site
- Seasonal or time-sensitive information becomes outdated
Pages that have been substantially updated include a “Last reviewed” or “Updated” date near the top or bottom of the article.
Transparency standard
We do not silently delete or rewrite content to conceal prior errors. Significant corrections are disclosed on the affected page. Our goal is to maintain a clear record of when and why content changes.
What this policy does not cover
This corrections policy applies to factual content on QualitySleep. It does not apply to editorial opinions, product preferences, or comparative rankings, which represent our analytical judgment and may change as our evaluation criteria evolve.
